Can I compare a PDF against a Word document?

Yes -- Document A and Document B can each be any supported format (PDF, .docx, or .txt) independently. Text is extracted from each one first, then compared, so mixed pairs work exactly like matching pairs.

Does this work on scanned PDFs?

Only if the PDF already has a text layer. A scanned page with no text layer has nothing to extract -- run it through OCR (Image to Text or PDF to Text) first, then compare the result.

Does this work on mobile?

Yes -- it works in any modern browser on a phone, tablet, or desktop, with no app to install.
