What's the difference between OCR and Document AI?

OCR turns an image into plain text. Document AI goes further -- it understands structure, pulling out table rows, form fields, or invoice totals as distinct data, or answering a specific question about a document instead of just transcribing it. See the OCR hub for the plain-text tools.

Do I need to pay for all of this?
